This may be one for Ed and Harold:

What non-rail related holdings (if any) of Pittsburgh Railways did PAT inherit
in 1964? I am referring to real estate holding that perhaps PAT didn't want,
but could have transferred to other county departments. Also, did the prior
arrangements between the Railways and the various municipalities the lines
travelled through (such as street maintenance, etc.) simply transfer to the
County, or did the County change the terms?
