It had to be gone by 1955 because I was in the P&WV Gateway Center offices in April of that year.  I was also in the old P&WV terminal offices in the early 1950s, after the shed had been torn down.  Have you looked at  Stefan Lorant's book?  If you are simply looking for a confirmation that the
office building lasted after the 1946 train shed fire, I can personally confirm that.
