    I am the person that created the current buzz about the name and I agree
totally with Ed.  I apologize for creating a furor.  The future of  the
museum is with the current name:  Pennsylvania Trolley Museum or PTM.  The
only way to preserve the past is to look to the future and, God willing, I
hope to be able to contribute to that future in as many ways as possible.
    Using the name Arden does nothing to tell people where the museum is and
often I find many people do not even know where Washington is located.  The
museum is about 30 minutes south of Pittsburgh and I live about 40 minutes
north of Pittsburgh.  After all, most people also have no idea where
Kittanning, or even Armstrong County, is located.
    We need to focus our energies on the great work so many people put into
this effort and find ways to support them.  There is a quote I use with my
adult volunteer band by Winston Churchill that says:  "We make a living by
what we get.  We make a life by what we give."
