I think I can agree with this. There are a few more important issues
in the world than public transport in New Orleans. I even question
how many of the half million people who resided in Orleans Parish
will ever come home. How many of those who do will have jobs? How
many will have homes that can be made habitable? How many employers
will find people who want to work? And who would want to live in a
city that is below river level and with a river to land differential
that is increasing by about one inch a year? And we're worried about
borrowing streetcars? Incredible! So shoot me.
