Apparently didn't not happen on the Joint PERC // Akron trip as local
car 4387 in revenue service was used by charter riders if they wanted to
take that ride. Here is that charter information from PRMA files:::

1952.07.27 1614 PRCo Joint Trip with Akron, OH, RR Club.
Washington Shannon Charleroi, Roscoe, Washington; regular service car
4387 Black Diamond to Donora.
1952.07.27 1646 PRCo Joint Trip with Akron, OH, RR Club.
Washington Shannon Charleroi, Roscoe, Washington; regular service car
4387 Black Diamond to Donora.
1952.07.27 3761 PRCo Joint Trip with Akron, OH, RR Club.
Washington Shannon Charleroi, Roscoe, Washington; regular service car
4387 Black Diamond to Donora.
1952.07.27 3769 PRCo Joint Trip with Akron, OH, RR Club.
Washington Shannon Charleroi, Roscoe, Washington; regular service car
4387 Black Diamond to Donora.

As I Said Previously -- ALL this was discussed not long ago on this list.

*- It was mentioned that work equipment would use the wye and that it
was apparently still in service up to the end.
*- I asked why a PCC couldn't make the trip then since it was still
usable.
*- fws responded that the wye could be available to some equipment but
restricted to others. I have the emails somewhere -- just need
to find them.

I also wrote about the fantrip above which Strongly suggests that the
PCC did not make the trip to Donora if the railfans used 4387 for that
purpose.

Have been in private correspondence with Dwight Long of the Museum who
also says he has never heard of such -- but he also adds that it
doesn't mean it didn't happen.
