West Penn owned the track between McKeesport and Duquesne until about 1950.
PRCo had an operating agreement with WP, and eventually bought it from them.
There is a great shot of a WP crew installing track on the new bridge across
the Monongahela in 1928 or thereabouts.

There are several photos taken on Sept. 21, 1958 in Duquesne.   So,
apparently there was some former West Penn Railways trackage in Duquesne
that was kept operable for Pittsburgh Railways?
