That was a long 57+ years ago,  never thought much about it until now, but with my folks gone
now way to ever find out, Could have been a Donora car at Riverview Loop, and the Charleroi
Car figured it would handle local traffic, but what if you wanted to go to Charleroi or beyond?
Still interests me.

Best 'guess' is that body language usually tells the Interurban motorman to continue but there was uncertainty at times so the same
