Unusual 88 Frankstown, 87 Ardmore and 77/54 re-routings during Strip District Penn Avenue disruption, June 1964. If I understand this one correctly, the 87 Ardmore stayed on Liberty Avenue inbound instead of turning onto Penn Avenue at 32nd Street. In the Railways heydays, one wonders if the Railways Company would have just built a temporary railbed to get cars from Penn to Liberty during this time.
