   Your material contains a photo of Leland Hazard, Chief Counsel for
Pittsburgh Plate Glass and  Pat Board member.
   When I was working with you in Harrisburg,  Leland Hazzard called
me up  and invited me to dinner with him at a hotel. He was also a
Trustee of  Carnegie Mellon where I went to college.  We had much
in common.
   We enjoyed a pleasant dinner  until desert, when he politely
explained  to me I would be fired if I did not fund Sky Bus.
I told him 83 % of the people opposed it and it was not viable. I
would have to take my chances.   The next Governor did fire me
as the bus lobby paid him to do it.   A committee of a dozen
Republicans
called on the Governor to keep me but he told them and they told
me that he was financially obligated to get rid of me.
	They demanded the end of commuter rail subsidy as they
needed the money for buses.  By 1982, all the RDC's were shut
down but the bus lobby never got more money as the accounting
losses on RDC operation  did not produce any honest cash
savings after discontinuance. The bus crooks thought they would
get $ 11 million a year.
