provided:

HI, Herb!
PCC list is very simple with car number and year of delivery. I
have not checked it in detail but delivery for 1700s is all wrong
with one exception. ALL 1700s were delivered in 1949
Except-1700-herself; she was delivered 30-Nov-1948. You shall note
that 1700 is not listed in the roster; neither are any of the other
17s converted to 4000s. The original 17-number is identified in the
listing of the 4000s.
I can not say one thing about buses; they are not a field of overt
interest. I sometimes pick up on bus items from discussions (or if
I actually worked on them) but do not so do intentionally.
Highly detailed lists by a number of people from the 1940s and early
1950s -- some original PERC members -- have listed Car numbers,
delivery dates, dimensions, weight, controls, conversions, etc.
Dave Hamley (I believe) put together a master list of ALL PRCo
equipment (including those inherited upon formation of PRCo in 190s
(or thereabouts!), their new number, M- and F-Cars, etc.) which John
Swindler sent to me How Many Decades Ago~???~!!! Single-space
type-written it involves 75-100-pages! Listing of PCCs is quite
interesting with Delivery and In-Service dates along with scrapping
if pertinent at the time the list was compiled along with known
conversions and some modifications.
Jim
PS -- How many days until August, Herb~??~!!!!!!!
