CRys 2365 was acquired by Seashore in 2009. It is mated with their #1227, a motor car.

Bob,
The original number of the car sitting in your photo at Van Aken Yard was
2365. It was originally a Cleveland Railway Company trailer. It was
delivered to Cleveland Railway on March 2, 1918 and continued as a
Cleveland Railway trailer car until it was sold to Shaker Heights Rapid
Transit on October 26, 1946. The car was originally built by G. C. Kuhlman
Co. It was 49 feet long, had seats for 59 passengers, ran on Brill 67F
trucks and weighed 25,900 pounds. The original cost of the car was
$2,760.30. This series' nomenclature (given by Cleveland Railway Co) was
"Arch Roof Trailer".
It began in Shaker Heights Service in 1947 (exact date unavailable). it had
"cable" MU couplers, was renumbered to 58 and stayed in SHRT revenue
service until sometime in 1948. At that time is was towed to Van Aken Yard
and made a "permanent" trainman's locker room and office. This "permanent"
assignment lasted until April 3, 1968 when it was towed to Kingsbury Run
Shops. In 1968 it was sold to Gerald E. Brookins and moved to Trolleyville
in 1968. It was almost totally restored to its original Cleveland Railway
appearance even to the Peter Smith coal stove. It was stored at
Trolleyville and what has happened to it since the demise of the
Trolleyville collection I do not know. I suppose it's somewhere in the U.S.
at some trolley museum.
